On May 8th, 2023, an inspiring workshop focusing on waste management and entrepreneurship was successfully organized at the Art Faculty Auditorium. The event was a collaboration between the ZeroPlastic Ruhuna community and the ZeroPlastic Movement, with the goal of equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills to contribute to a sustainable future.

Held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the workshop attracted individuals who were passionate about environmental conservation and eager to explore entrepreneurial opportunities. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to drive positive change.

Esteemed speakers who were experts in waste management and entrepreneurship graced the event, sharing their valuable expertise and personal experiences. Through insightful presentations, participants gained valuable insights into various aspects of waste management, including recycling, waste reduction, and the significance of establishing a circular economy. Additionally, the workshop provided guidance on how to transform innovative ideas into successful businesses that promote waste management and sustainability.
