Green Steps – Phase 1.3, a Dhamma School Awareness Program, was successfully conducted at Panyalankara Dharmayathanaya, Mapalana, with the participation of Dhamma school students to promote environmental awareness and encourage eco-friendly lifestyles among young minds.

The program was organized with the objective of educating students about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and the importance of protecting and respecting nature through simple daily actions. The awareness session was conducted in an interactive and engaging manner through discussions, presentations, mindful learning activities, and educational games that encouraged active student participation throughout the program.

During the session, students were educated on how plastic waste negatively affects the environment, animals, and human health, while also learning practical ways to reduce plastic usage and adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives. The activities helped students understand that even small environmentally friendly actions can create a positive impact on society and the natural environment.
