ZeroPlastic NISD Club Conducts Walk the Talk 2.0 Sub Trail for Environmental Awareness

The Zero Plastic NISD Club organized Walk the Talk 2.0 Sub Trail, an environmental awareness initiative designed to promote reduced use of plastic and polythene while encouraging sustainable everyday practices. The project was conducted as a sub trail under the broader Walk the Talk 2026 campaign.

The initiative aimed to educate participants about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment, wildlife, and human health. It also sought to highlight practical alternatives to single-use plastics and encourage participants to incorporate eco-friendly habits into their daily routines.

During the project, ZeroPlastic volunteers carried out awareness activities and engaged directly with participants on the topic of plastic reduction. The sub trail format provided a structured setting for interactive engagement, allowing volunteers to communicate environmental messages and demonstrate actionable steps toward lowering plastic consumption. Participants took part in activities centered on understanding the scale of plastic pollution and identifying changes they could make at an individual level.

The project created an opportunity for young volunteers to take on active roles in planning and delivering environmental advocacy.
