Open University Volunteers Complete Sub Trail’26 Environmental Conservation Initiative

The ZeroPlastic club of the Open University organized Sub Trail’26, a volunteer-led environmental project held on September 19. The activity brought together 40 university volunteers who carried out on-the-ground efforts focused on environmental conservation.

The project was organized as part of the ZeroPlastic Movement’s ongoing work to engage young volunteers in practical environmental action. Sub Trail’26 aimed to contribute to cleaner natural surroundings through direct volunteer participation.

During the project, the 40 volunteers took part in trail-based environmental activities. The effort centered on hands-on work in the field, with volunteers contributing their time and energy toward improving environmental conditions in the project area.

The activity saw steady engagement from the participating volunteers, all drawn from the Open University community. Their involvement reflected a willingness among young people to dedicate time to environmental work beyond the university setting.
