Punchi Haritha Sihina 2.0 brought plastic awareness to young school students through an interactive and creative programme organized by ZeroPlastic volunteers. The session included a presentation on plastic awareness, followed by a hands-on creative activity where school students worked with custom worksheets featuring eco-friendly slogans such as “Save our planet.” Volunteers also hosted a storytelling session using visual posters, centred on a nature-protecting hero, and wrapped up the programme with eco-themed songs to keep the energy high. By combining learning with creativity and storytelling, the programme made environmental awareness accessible and enjoyable for younger audiences. Activities like these help introduce plastic awareness early and encourage school students to think about the world around them.
