“Growing With You” Promotes Sustainable Beginnings

Highlights of the “Growing with You” project’s implementation by the Zero Plastics CINEC Campus team at Castle Street Hospital for Women.

During the initiative, small plants were distributed to mothers who had given birth, mothers close to delivery those who attending clinic sessions. The project symbolically encouraged families to nurture the plant alongside their child, promoting care for nature from the very beginning.

A brief awareness session was also conducted on the harmful effects of plastic and ways to reduce its use, targeting not only mothers but also fathers and guardians who attended the clinic.

The initiative successfully raised awareness and inspired families to adopt eco-friendly habits, contributing to a more sustainable future.
