Green Pulse by ZeroPlastic NIBM

The Green Pulse webinar, organized by the Rotaract Club of NIBM in collaboration with ZeroPlastic NIBM, was successfully conducted as an online awareness initiative aimed at promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program focused on SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 15 (Life on Land), creating a platform for participants to gain valuable knowledge on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The session commenced with an introduction that set the stage for a series of insightful discussions on sustainability. Participants had the opportunity to learn from experienced resource persons who shared their expertise on topics including climate action, responsible consumption, sustainable living practices, and the growing issue of greenwashing. Interactive question-and-answer sessions followed each presentation, encouraging participants to engage in meaningful discussions and gain a deeper understanding of the topics presented.

One of the key strengths of the webinar was its ability to connect global sustainability goals with everyday actions. The initiative also contributed to addressing broader environmental challenges, including the global plastic crisis. By promoting responsible consumption and sustainable lifestyles, the program emphasized the need to reduce waste generation, minimize plastic dependency, and adopt environmentally friendly alternatives. Through awareness and education, Green Pulse encouraged participants to become active contributors to sustainable development within their communities.

The success of Green Pulse demonstrates the power of collaboration in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability education.
