Green Canvas 2.0, organized by the Editorial Services Avenue of ZeroPlastic University of Peradeniya, was a vibrant celebration of youth creativity and environmental awareness. As the second chapter of this initiative, the event united talented students from ten schools, offering a platform to express their vision for a greener future through art.
Held at the University of Peradeniya, the competition welcomed students from Grades 9 to 11. Participants created impactful artworks centered on environmental themes. Ten outstanding pieces were selected, with special recognition awarded to three exceptional artists: 1st place – Mahamaya Girls’ College, Kandy; 2nd – Pushpadana Girls’ College, Kandy; and 3rd – Girls’ High School, Kandy.

Content was crafted by Darshika Sathsarani and Dilmi Chamanga; visuals by Shashini Jayasooriya, Julia Wijetunga, and Ilma Sahabdeen.
