Eco Safari 2026, an environmental cleanup project organized by the ZeroPlastic Movement, took place on 22 September 2026 across three natural sites in the Belihuloya area: Pahanthudawa Waterfall, Surathali Ella Waterfall, and Samanalawewa Reservoir and Viewpoint. Waste management for the collected materials was coordinated with the Imbulpe Pradeshiya Sabha.

Refreshments were provided at the gathering point, sponsored by Sunset Paddlers Samanalawewa. The day concluded with a bonfire gathering and team activities, giving volunteers an opportunity to come together after working at separate sites throughout the afternoon.
