We are thrilled to welcome Samudradevi School to the ZeroPlastic Movement platform — a growing national network empowering young people to develop skills, leadership, and impact while addressing one of the world’s most pressing issues: plastic pollution.
The ZeroPlastic Movement has evolved far beyond a campaign. Today, it stands as a skills development platform and opportunity creation hub for youth across Sri Lanka. Thousands of university students have already joined hands, leading impactful projects, driving awareness, and innovating local solutions. Now, schools are stepping into this journey — nurturing the next generation of changemakers early in their educational journey.
Samudradevi School’s inclusion marks a significant step forward. Under the guidance of ZeroPlastic – CINEC Campus, the school’s club will receive mentorship, resources, and opportunities to engage in real-world sustainability projects. This collaboration ensures that students not only learn about environmental responsibility but also gain valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
As the ZeroPlastic Movement continues to grow, our vision remains clear — to empower every young person to be part of the solution. Through partnerships like these, we are building a generation equipped with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to lead Sri Lanka — and the world — towards a more sustainable future.
