Rajarata-ZeroPlastic held the exciting “Green Lens Photography Competition 2025” to celebrate nature and creativity. This event welcomed university students from all over the country to showcase their love for the natural world through photography.
The competition focused on three main ideas: promoting a zero-plastic lifestyle, celebrating the beauty of our environment, and capturing green actions. Participants shared their creative photos online, resulting in a colorful collection of 44 amazing images reflecting different views from across the nation.
Two awards were given: one for the best photograph as chosen by expert judges, and another for the most popular photo, based on public votes on Facebook. A dedicated organizing team worked hard to ensure the event was a success, helping to promote the competition and share the inspiring photos that emerged.
More than just a photography contest, this project aimed to inspire people and raise awareness about protecting our planet. Each photo told a story, showing the need to care for our environment. The competition also helped the ZeroPlastic community grow online, encouraging many people to join the movement for a plastic-free and greener future.
Through this blend of art and advocacy, the Green Lens Photography Competition inspired us to take responsibility for nurturing and protecting the Earth.
