The ZeroPlastic University of Peradeniya proudly launched Nature’s Warning a powerful video series designed to inspire environmental awareness and action. This project highlights the breathtaking beauty of nature, the threats it faces from human activities, and the devastating impacts of plastic pollution. It’s not just a warning, it’s a call to action.
Through a carefully crafted video series, supported by AIRPIX VIDEOGRAPHY by Mr. Ishan Udayanga, Nature’s Warning takes viewers on a journey. It showcases the wonders of forests and wildlife, highlighting the natural wonders that make our country so unique, and then reveals how careless plastic use and disposal disrupt ecosystems, harm animals, and degrade natural landscapes. The series emphasizes that protecting nature is not just about admiration .It requires responsibility and change.
The project reached a wide audience within and beyond the university, sparking conversations about sustainability and encouraging individuals to rethink their daily habits. Through Nature’s Warning we aim to educate, inspire, and empower individuals to take action against plastic pollution. We believe that every small step counts, and together we can create a plastic free future.
