On 15th January 2025, the Circular Auditorium at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, was filled with energy, pride, and purpose as the ZeroPlastic University of Peradeniya hosted its Annual General Meeting & Award Ceremony 2025. The event marked a year of dedication, innovation, and tangible impact in the journey toward a plastic-free future.

The ceremony was a celebration of collective action, honoring the students, volunteers, and project teams who went above and beyond to advance sustainability, raise environmental awareness, and inspire meaningful change across the university and beyond.
