Blue Heroes ‘2: The Mission of the Preserving Blue of Mother Earth

If there is an existing resource that can’t be substituted by any other alternative, that is the WATER. The value of water is priceless. The existence of the spirit of Mother Earth completely depends on the existence of the water resource.

 

With the complete apprehension of the importance of preserving water resources, the ZeroPlastic University of Peradeniya launched the project Blue Heroes ’26 . The project Blue Heroes ’26 was initiated on behalf of the celebration of *World Water Day 2026.

The project was initiated to raise the awareness of our younger generation about sustainable water conservation and responsible water consumption.

 

The Grade six students Sirisumana Vidyayathanaya, Peradeniya was selected for the awareness programme. Simultaneously with the awareness programme, an Art Competition on the topic “Let’s Protect Water Resource for the Future Generation” was held. Those students have illustrated their creative ideas through nice drawings. It was selected as “the best drawing”, and all the students who illustrated their creative ideas through drawings were awarded a certificate.

 

The Project Blue Heroes was successfully concluded with the contribution of 20+ Eco-Volunteers of the ZeroPlastic University of Peradeniya. The MAS LINEA CLOTHING joined hands with the Project Blue Heroes ’26, as usual being the Financial Partner, believing in the pure vision of Blue Heroes ’26.

The Project Blue Heroes ’26 is one of the best projects that was launched by the Public Relations and Partnerships Avenue of the ZeroPlastic University of Peradeniya, with the pure vision of protecting the right to consume pure water of our future generation, on the way to a sustainable tomorrow.
