An environmental awareness programme focused on the harmful effects of plastic pollution was successfully conducted at NDC Pre School, aiming to educate young learners about the importance of protecting the environment and reducing plastic waste from an early age.

The session began with an engaging presentation using colorful and simple slides specifically designed for preschool children. Through these visuals, the children were introduced to the concept of plastic, its potential to harm animals, plants, and the environment, and why it is essential not to dispose of plastic waste improperly. The content was carefully tailored to ensure that even the youngest learners could understand and relate to the ideas presented.

To reinforce learning, the programme included interactive activities that encouraged active participation. The children enjoyed hands-on exercises that helped them grasp the importance of keeping their surroundings clean and disposing of plastic responsibly. These activities made the session fun, memorable, and effective in conveying key environmental messages.

Teachers and organizers noted that the children were curious, enthusiastic, and engaged throughout the programme. By combining education with interactive play, the session successfully encouraged the young participants to reflect on their daily habits and understand their role in environmental protection.

The programme underscored the value of introducing environmental responsibility at an early age. Early awareness fosters positive habits, creating the foundation for a generation that values cleanliness, sustainability, and respect for nature. This initiative demonstrates how simple, age-appropriate educational programmes can play a significant role in shaping environmentally conscious attitudes among preschool children, laying the groundwork for a cleaner and healthier future.
