We’re on a mission to build a cleaner, greener Sri Lanka through cleanup initiatives, community engagement, awareness campaigns, project management, and advocacy work—both online and on the ground. Our strength lies in our volunteers, and we welcome individuals from all walks of life to contribute their time, skills, and passion toward a plastic-free future.
We understand that not everyone can participate in physical activities. That’s why we offer flexible volunteering options:
On-ground volunteering: Join us for cleanup drives, awareness sessions, community events, or support project logistics in person.
Virtual volunteering: Contribute from anywhere by designing flyers, creating content, managing social media campaigns, planning projects, writing press releases, supporting research, and helping us build partnerships.
Hybrid volunteering: If you’re open to both in-person and remote activities, we’d love to know!
By joining us, you become part of a nationwide force creating lasting environmental impact. Based on your contributions, you may also be eligible to receive a Certificate of Volunteering, recognizing your effort and hours of service.

If you participate in any on-ground/physical projects, please make sure to download the ZeroPlastic App and check in and check out at the specific project location.
✅ Volunteers who properly check in at the project location will receive volunteer points, which contribute toward eligibility for ZeroPlastic Certification.
