Zero Plastic National moment organized the World cleanup day 2022 celebration in Sri Lanka. Our moment launched 12 island-wide cleanup projects concomitantly in the country on the 17th of September 2022. Zero Plastic Volunteers joined with that day, taking Katthankudy Beachside.

The Cleanup was held from around 8.00 am to 1.00 pm. Our volunteers have cleaned around 2km of the Beach Side. We provided all the volunteers Caps, Buns, Soft Drinks, and King Coconuts. More than 80 volunteers participated in this Clean Up. We collected more than 100 Kg of Plastics and other wastes. After the cleanup, our organizing team was given an amazing session with our volunteers and the public.
