Here we announce the site Ratnapura Town area for the Islandwide Cleanup Series organized by Zero Plastic Movement on behalf of the World Cleanup Day on the 17th of September, 2022.

Zeroplastic National Movement is the biggest environmental force in the country functioning with 3000+ volunteers from all over Sri Lanka. The movement has initiated a number of programs to bring down plastic usage within the country, in the objective of creating a plastic-free nation. On behalf of World Cleanup Day, the Zeroplastic movement is planning to conduct 15 Cleanup projects.

World Cleanup Day unites millions of volunteers, governments, and organizations in 191 countries to tackle the global waste problem and build up a new and sustainable world.
