Awareness is a great agent for chane. We hope to change mindest of people about plastic. Parallely we are going to change habits of people regarding usage of plastics .

An awareness session project was successfully concluded by Ocean University zeroplastic members at G/ Rajamaha Vihara Dhamma school Yatagala, Unawatuna.

We informed the students about plastics and harmful impacts of plastics. They grapped it and will change their habits. Although people know about the harmful impacts of plastics, they do not use to remove them from usage. We encouraged them not to use plastics.

The main aim of the project was to acknowledge the students about the negative impacts of using single use plastics and their impacts to nature and at the end initiated the young generation to use alternative products to plastics.
